Researcher from Icpe presented a scientific paper at 13TH WEC CENTRAL & EASTERN EUROPE REGIONAL ENERGY FORUM – FOREN 2016. The title was “Design Optimisation, Numerical Simulation and Experimental Validation of a Permanent Magnet Brushless Motor for Small Electric Vehicles”. Authors: Bogdan Dumitru VăRĂTICEANU, Silviu MATEI, Constantin NICOLESCU and Maricica PESTERI.
CWIEME Berlin

Between 10th – 12th May 2016, Icpe’s representatives Bogdan Varaticeanu and Constantin Nicolescu attended the CWIEME Berlin, which is an exhibition and show dedicated to the winding technology, electric motors and transformer production. The main objective of this activity was to disseminate the Plus Moby FP7 project. The presence on this event had an important role to the awareness of different stakeholders regarding the projects’ intermediate results. An important role of the participants was to identify companies which are interested in Icpe’s products and also to observe the technology development trend.
During this event there have been identified equipment and manufacturing technologies which can be implemented in Icpe’s current electric motor production.
Hannover Messe 2016.

Between 25th-29th April 2016, Icpe’s representatives Silviu Matei and Mihăiţă Neacşu attended the Hannover Messe. The main objective of this activity was to
disseminate the Plus Moby FP7 projects. The presence on this event had an important role to the awareness of different stakeholders regarding the projects intermediate results. An important role of the participants was to identify companies which are interested in Icpe’s products and also to observe the technology development trend. During this event there have been identified products (related to Icpe’s domain of activity) which can be distributed in Romania through Icpe.

Icpe is a partner in the FP7 project “Premium Low weight Urban Sustainable e_MOBilitY / PLUS MOBY” Call identifier: FP7-SST-2013-RTD-1, Funding scheme: Collaborative project / Small or medium-scale focused research project (Project number : 605 502). In this project, as partner, Icpe (P3) is the only participant from Romania in a consortium coordinated by the company BITRON SPA -Italy.
Paul Minciunescu presented the solution developed for electric vehicle propulsion system.
Dissemination consisted of several interviews with team members to Euronews.
XXIXth Scientific Conference on „Construction Machinery Development Problems” – 2016

Icpe representatives Bogdan Vărăticeanu and Mihăiţă Neacşu attended the internal dissemination meeting of FP7 Plus-Moby project that took place at Zakopane, Poland. This consortium meeting was organised in the frame of XXIXth Scientific Conference on „Construction Machinery Development Problems”. The status of the project was analysed. The project coordinator performed an overview on the project and underlined the activities under development.

A paper about PLUS Moby project was presented at ICT2015 – Innovate, Connect, Transform, and Lisbon, Portugal. ICT 2015 is the largest ICT event organized by the European Commission. It is the conference where the policies and initiatives of CE are presented. It is focused on how we can innovate, Connect and Transform in the Digital Society.

At 05.08.2015 in Bruxelles it was the review meeting of the partners for 18 months of FP7 – PLUS-MOBY project. The participants were from Bitron (Italy), IFEVS, Polimodel (Italy), University of Surrrey (England), MA (Italiy), Cidaut (Spain), Icpe, IMBIGS (Poland), Torino E-District (Italy). The status of the project were analyzed. Each workpacake and deliverable were examined. Icpe’s delegats presented the deliverables D1.2, D1.3, D2.10 and MS2.
