Eficien\u0163a motorului termic cre\u015fte deoarece este folosit la tura\u0163iile unde randamentul este mare. \u00cen consecin\u0163\u0103, consumul de combustibil scade. Alt avantaj al sistemului hibrid de propulsie este fr\u00e2narea recuperativ\u0103. Astfel, energia care s-ar fi pierdut prin fr\u00e2nare este (\u00een parte) recuperat\u0103.
