Dear ISDEIV 2008 Authors and Participants,

The Romanian Local Organizing Committee would like to thank all of you for participation at ISDEIV 2008 in Bucharest- Romania and hopes that you will keep a good memory about the Symposium.

As you know, a part of the ISDEIV 2008 papers can be published in Special Issues of IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science (PS) – Guest editor Prof. Dan Pavelescu, or IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation (DEI) –Guest editor Prof. Smaranda Nitu.

There will be no pre-selection process.  The full journal manuscript must not be identical to the proceedings manuscript, but substantially revised and lengthened. They must be prepared following the style requirements of IEEE Transactions.  In the interested of representing the full spectrum of activities in the field, it is permissible that submission to the Special Issues include contributions that were not presented at the symposium provided those contributions fit well to the topics of the Call for Papers.  

Please prepare your papers in order to be able to submit them until November 1^st 2008.

All contributions should be submitted electronically through the IEEE Manuscript Central web site at: http://tps-ieee.manuscriptcentral.com as described in the submission instructions www.ieee.org/pubs/authors.html. All papers will undergo standard peer-review process typical for all IEEE Transactions and Journals.
