The official website of the FP7 project "Retrokit-Toolboxes for systemic retrofitting" was launched

The residential buildings dating from 1945-1980 have the biggest energy consumption and due to their age need refurbishment and modernization interventions. Therefore, buildings with families with multiple members are one of the most potential markets, about 10 million of these buildings with several floors.

The RetroKit project where Icpe is partner with 17 other companies, will develop three pilot buildings (Spain, Germany, Netherlands) multifunctional and modular, low cost and easy to install to significantly increase the rate of refurbishment and contribute to proposed EU energy reduction.

The key factor of the project is the element RetroKit "window", accompanied by a box in the HVAC technical and construction services interfaces - ducts and conduits.

The RetroKit project has received funding from the European Union - FP7 2007-2013, under grant agreement no. EeB.NMP.2012-2-314229.
