ICPE at "Promoting renewable energy in Romania" workshop

On Friday, 22 may 2009, at the Romanian Academy House – Luxembourg Room, ICPE particpated at the workshop „Promoting renewable energy in Romania” organised by the Center for Promotion of Renewable Energy and Energetical Efficiency belonging to National Institute of Economic Research of the Romanian Academy and the Scientific Society ICPE.

During this event, both the ICPE and CPEREE specialists presented the role and importance of the renewable technologies on medium and long-term, as well as the legal framework focused on promoting the usage of these renewable energies and the necessity of improving the energetical efficiency through economical and ecological illuminating systems and thermal energy expertise of buildings (energy performance certificates).

The main objectives proposed by the 2 scientific organizations are:

to inform about the necessity of energy saving
to encourage some legislative initiatives to promote renewable energies and energy saving
