Foundation of ICPE
ICPE or RESEARCH INSTITUTE on ELECTROTECHNICS, as it was called 60 years ago, was foundated by Government Decision - HG 868 on the 5th of August, 1950, with the signature of the “famous” Petru Groza and Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej. It was created in order to help the real economic necessity- the country’s electrification - and became very popular thanks to it’s work in service to the country.
