Scientific Council

The Scientific Council, as consultative body, is meant to participate in elaborating the strategy and programmes in the field of research, development, innovation and to the scientific and technical activity in general, contributing to the development of the procedures for their carrying out.

The Scientific Council is composed of by right and elected members and also of honorific members, having a two‑years mandate. The elected members are scientific researchers, employers, having distinghuised achievements and capacity of analysis and synthesis, able to ensure orientation, scientific and technical support and in the same time the accomplishment of the proposed objectives. The honorific member are from academic society, being well‑known personalities at the national and international level and contributing to the elaboration of the long‑term atrategy in the field of research & development.

The statute establishes the goal, structure and working mode of the Scientific Council.

The main task of the Scientific Council is to put into practice the decisions  that involves the research, development and innovation policy, the elaboration of procedures and coordination of the employment and professional promotion, ensuring a high standard as regards both the participation of the researchers in various national or international scientific‑technical activities, and also the quality of the published papers, and not in latest place, attracting, employing and keeping of the young graduates having real skiles for research activity.

The members of the Scientific Council, among other prerogatives, have mission to ensure a high level of the research works performed within the institute, through participating in examinating, approval and recertion of the research project phases, as presidents of the internal approval committees.
