Metrology Laboratory
The Metrology Laboratory has implemented a management system in accordance with the standard SR EN ISO / IEC 17025/2005 for the unit of measure set in the International System of Units SI.
The areas are:
The infrastructure of the Metrology Laboratory uses reference standards of the highest level to which traceability is established at a national or international level, so that the result of the generated measurements satisfies our customers.
This laboratory acquired in recent years a large number of specialized standards, performance, dedicated embedded software, which can transmit the unit of measurement to the newest measuring means on the Romanian market.
Due to our performant standards, renowned specialists, thoroughness, professionalism and promptness of the metrologic services, the Metrology Laboratory has a number of over 160 national and international clients.
The principles underlying the system of the Metrology Laboratory are:
- Transparency - consists of the knowlede in calibration / measurement, the targets, policies, strategies that are adopted, and costs
- Independence - abstaining from influencing the personnel in decision making on the calibration-measurement
- Impartiality - the laboratory gives credibility to the technical competence of laboratories, increasing competitiveness and integrity of laboratory personnel being one of our leverage for gaining and maintaining trust
- Confidentiality - consists in applying a policy and a procedure to protect confidential information and property rights of its customers
- Equality in chances - enables access equally in relationships with accrediting bodies and clients
- Oportunity - the laboratory allows the allocation of funds for infrastructure development and increase the competence and confidence
- Efficiency - lies in the allocation of funds and tracking the achievement of the objectives to be cost effective
- Responsability - the laboratory is limited to information, communication and awareness of staff, handling or being forbidden to impose a way of evaluating results
- Adressability and interest - by processing the requests promptly and efficiently, thus assuring the deadlines agreed with clients
- Necesity - the continual increase in efficiency , technology, quality that will finally add more clients
