Characteristics of one totem

  • 4 photovoltaic panels, 40 W, 160 W total power
  • 1 solar charger PWM EPRC-G, 24 V
  • 2  DC current drivers for LED lamps, 24 V
  • 2 DC LED lamps, 24 V, 35 W, 70 W total power
  • 2 solar batteries, 12 V, 100 Ah
  • 4 automatic fuses


The photovoltaic systems produce about 270 kWh of electrical energy yearly.
The electricity produced by the photovoltaic systems will be used to supply the LED lamps for lighting the two totems.
The electricity produced during daytime is stored in the batteries.
The solar charger is set to start the lamps at dusk, when the voltage produced by photovoltaic panels is almost 0 V. They are supplied for a period of 6 hours, using the energy stored in batteries.
If the stored energy is not enough to power the lamps, the charger will switch on the network.
The operation of the photovoltaic systems will contribute to the decrease of about 115 kg of CO2 emissions yearly, as well as other emissions accompanying conventional technologies for producing electricity.
