In-wheel Hub Motor for Electric/Hybrid Scooter
The in-wheel hub motor is one of the technical solutions used for a two-wheeled electric vehicle. The main advantage of this solution is the possibility to make a hybrid vehicle, complying with the restrictive terms of volume, mass and location characteristic for a two-wheeled.
This external rotor rare earth permanent magnet brushless motor is embedded into the rear wheel hub of a scooter.
